QA Dept: Help Wanted, Sarcasm and useless comments needed, part III

Correspondent from New York

Hi Jennifer-Ashley,

There are four well-known trolls in the Delphi community who are posting insults at you.

They are:
- Rick Carter,
- Keven Powick,
- Markus Humm (Pseudonym)
- David Erbas-White

The Delphi Delusion
Anyone who does not agree with the fact that Delphi is the greatest, the best IDE ever, is considered an enemy of Delphi. These Delphi people are so smart, they think they can charge high prices for their bad work and bad apps they produce. They waste time being newsgroup busy-body and do useless work instead. All their productivity is wiped out by expensive library costs.

Here is perfect example of productivity in action. These Delphi developers like to say that they are experts, super-coders, highly respected people. But when they post things to the newsgroups, they bray like donkeys and mules, give useless advice, nit-pick and bicker on other people.

Almost every year for the past decade, when anyone wants to find help in the former CodeGear and Borland newsgroups this kind of insult-storm happens.

Here are some suggestions for you:
1) TeamB is deaf, blind and indifferent to people who need help. You can start by complaining to the newsgroup administrator, John Frazier.

2) If that does not work, complain to David Intersimone, the head of Marketing that you get this kind of insult-fest and unprofessional behavior from the newsgroup. The VP of Developer Relations and Chief evangelist needs to see what the Delphi religion is about: all the sinners and beggars clothed in their filthy rags are in the town-hall throwing mud at others.

3) If that does not work, complain to the CEO of Embarcadero, Mr. Wayne D. Williams and to the CTO of Embarcadero, Mr. James Pitt that you are getting this "kind of support" and nasty responses. It's amazing when Embarcadero employs hundreds of developers to work for them and not one person can lift a finger or give an iota of help to some customer who is looking for help.

Personally, if your correspondent was the project manager for Delphi, this kind of shit-fest support would never happen.

Mr. Hater NY,

I have to put my 'ear' down.

Always consider, it's hard for the Delphi developers to find their false teeth in the morning without the thick glasses. When they finally found their glasses and look into the mirror, the radio plays ...

EMB sends them nice emails and so they are happy. An innovative kind of elderly care and this context what these people say makes a lot of sense.

I am curious about the point in time EMB will finally have to phase out Delphi ...
